Saving Instagram videos
Not every Instagram video is a reel. Feed videos and older IGTV uploads use different link formats (/p/ and /tv/), and this page handles both, along with reel links.
Paste the link and you get an MP4. We don't convert, compress or watermark it, so the file matches the one Instagram serves in resolution and length.
How to use it
Copy the link
In Instagram, tap the paper-plane Share icon on the post, then Copy link. On a computer, copy the address from the browser bar.
Paste it above
Paste into the box, or tap Paste to use whatever is on your clipboard, then press Download.
Save the file
Pick the result you want and tap Download. The file goes to your Downloads folder or Files app.
Which links work
Links containing /p/, /reel/, /reels/ or /tv/ are accepted. Story links use the Stories page, since stories come from a different source.
Long videos
Files stream through our server to your browser, so a long video can take a little longer to start than a short clip. Keep the tab open until your browser shows the download. There's no length limit on our side; very large files depend on your connection.

Does IGTV still work?
Instagram folded IGTV into regular video posts, and older /tv/ links still resolve here.
What format is the file?
MP4, as served by Instagram.
Why is the video sound-free?
The file has whatever audio Instagram attached to the post. A video that was uploaded without sound, or muted by a rights claim, stays that way.
Do I need to log in?
No account or Instagram login is needed.
Can I download videos from private accounts?
No, only public posts.
