Saving Instagram Reels
Reels are Instagram's short vertical videos, and the app has no button to save one to your phone. Paste the reel's link above and FastDlHub returns the video file for that reel, ready to save.
The file you get is the one Instagram serves for that reel, so quality depends on what the creator uploaded. We don't re-encode it, add a watermark or put an overlay on it.
How to use it
Copy the link
In Instagram, tap the paper-plane Share icon on the post, then Copy link. On a computer, copy the address from the browser bar.
Paste it above
Paste into the box, or tap Paste to use whatever is on your clipboard, then press Download.
Save the file
Pick the result you want and tap Download. The file goes to your Downloads folder or Files app.
Copying a reel link
In the app, open the reel, tap the paper-plane Share icon, then Copy link. On a computer, copy the address from the browser bar. Links containing /reel/ or /reels/ both work, and tracking text after a question mark is ignored.
Reels with their own audio
When the source provides an audio track for the reel, it appears as a separate Audio result under the video. That is useful when you want the sound without the picture. Whether a track is available depends on the reel.
When a reel won't download
Three things cause most failures: the account is private, the reel was deleted, or the link points to a profile instead of one specific reel. Open the link in a private browser window. If you can't see the reel there, we can't either.
Questions
Does the download include a watermark?
No. We pass through the file Instagram serves with nothing added.
What resolution will I get?
Whatever Instagram serves for that reel, which is usually HD for recent uploads. We never upscale.
Can I download several reels at once?
One link at a time. Paste the next link when the first is saved.
Will the creator know I saved their reel?
Your Instagram account isn't involved in the download, so nothing is tied to your profile.
Can I save a reel from a private account?
No. Only public reels can be fetched.
